Review by hotel critic
The service and facilities provided were satisfactory, with efficient communication from the staff regarding key collection and check-in procedures. the availability of free parking in the layby opposite the hotel was a bonus, although the limited time allowed for parking was slightly inconvenient. the room itself, although simple, was clean and tidy with a decent flat-screen TV offering a variety of Freeview channels. the spacious bathroom and hot shower were also impressive additions. One aspect that stood out to me was the lack of dining facilities at the hotel. However, the convenient location near several fast-food chains and a supermarket made it easy to find dining options within walking distance. the proximity to a local pub, the Cross Keys, was also a highlight for those looking for a nearby spot to relax and enjoy a meal or drink. The hotel's amenities, such as free toiletries, an electric kettle, and Wi-Fi, were standard but sufficient for a comfortable stay. the absence of pets and smoking on site enhanced the overall cleanliness and ambience of the hotel. the shared kitchen and billiard tables offered additional entertainment options for guests. Overall, I would describe this hotel as a no-frills option for travelers seeking a simple and affordable accommodation in Barrow. While it may not offer luxury amenities, the value for the price paid is fair. I would consider staying here again for a short visit to the area, especially for its convenient location and hassle-free check-in process.
